Ive had it for over a year now . It hadn't run or been registered since 1983. I found a carb for it replaced all the brakes, calipers, hoses, lines, fuel pump, carb, water pump, 2 freeze plugs etc. and fired her up.
the interior was all there but in boxes. the seats had been recovered at one point and never installed but they all dry cracked the first time i sat in them.
I swapped out the seized woodgrain shifter for a '71 slapstick t-handle.
It has some crazy gears in it. I think they're 3:91 or 410(?) . Not much use on the highway
Since then ive been just cruising in it occasionally. If it werent for the rusty QP's id just leave and drive it as a beat up survivor but I think I'll do a basic driver resto. I enjoy the fact that I can take this car anywhere and not worry about .
