I would of liked to seen that in person also. :worship: :worship: :worship: :worship:
I heard from somebody years ago that Plymouth dealers were a little leary of those special models ( Superbirds ) because they sat on some showroom floors and had to be sold back to Chrysler. Some dealers gave up their option of getting an AAR so that is probably how others ended up with so many. Our local dealer had a Lemon Twist Superbird and AAR Cuda on the lot at the same time. They sold them locally. The AAR was totaled in 1975, but the motor lives on. The Superbird I lost track of.
I can remember going past the zone office in Syracuse,NY and seeing many Superbirds in the lot next to the Thruway. Even heard of a few being modified so they could be sold.
