Broken sway bar bracket
« on: February 26, 2005 - 04:52:23 PM »
While working on the front end today, I noticed that the sway bar mounting bracket on the drivers side LCA is broken.
A chunk is missing from the front of the hole.

Has anyone repaired/replaced this bracket? I'd hate to replace the whole arm just because of this.

Thanks.

I guess it depends on your fabrication skills , it would not be hard to weld in a re-inforcement plate to repair the bracket or weld a new bracket on

It loolks like you can just grind the top off and weld on a D-washer.
