550hp? Late to the game and its the least powerful & heaviest, which likely means it will be slower and handle worse than the competition. It needs another 150 hp and one hell of a suspension to beat the competition - two things that will never happen with the viper around. Even if they do somehow eek out more horsepower and drop some weight, it doesnt matter - with zero tuning options and expensive aftermarket support, the ZL1 and Cobra still have more promise.

Im slowly giving up on ma mopar. They may win in the styling department, but that only gets them so far when the competition is handing them their ass in every other category.

I am going to watching Dodge very closely for the next couple of years. 

I just bought my wife a new Chrysler 200.  That means that I am next in line for the next new car.

There may be a factory supercharger in my future...

OH, and look, my wife had to get the exact same paint as my Challenger so that we can match!  LOL

I doubt any of this stuff.

Until I see Ralph Gilles pop the hood on one, I ain't buyin' it.


If for a miracle, they DO come out with one, anything short of 650HP is pointless.

The supercharged 6.2 litre engine is going to happen.

How much horsepower or what the price tag will be is what is in question.

My guess is 550 horsepower starting at $55000 base model SRT.
