Thanks CP and Brad!

Leaned alot so far from you two about what I do and do not want to do to the car!

In another update, I put the Lunati 60303 cam in, in place of the mp509.   Definitely idles much better and don't have to start it 3 times and run it up when it is cold anymore!

But, it seems just a tad weaker at the high end now, and I was wondering if I should step up to the 60304?  ...or is the 60304 too sloppy down low like the 509?

I also have Edlebrock heads and TTI 1 7/8" Headers sitting on the floor waiting patiently for install...

Currently it has HP Ex. manifolds and 915 heads w/3" tti.  Should I step up to the bigger cam, or just put the heads and headers on first?

Thanks!

you would still have less duration with the 60304 from the .509
If you do the head swap & would love to see you run the engine tuned on a  dyno before the eddy heads & after if you do the swap , , I gained 3 hp over poredt 452 heads & your 915s are better heads than the 452s  !
I would do the headers first , swap the cam & then think about swapping the heads at all !!

Glad to hear it worked out for you.

Word to the wise, if you are looking for transmission work make sure you find someone who knows A833's.

I got one of the top notch guys on the west coast and it's a work of art! Wouldn't hesitate one second to take it to him again.
