But I know what carb were on my AAR 340-6 and the fuel lines were not on the linkage side of the carbs.

Read the first post in the thread , these were the aftermarket / race series carbs available through Mopars Hustle Stuff program with mechanical outboard carbs Not the factory vacuum carbs

While this topic is still fresh....does anyone have any proven jetting recommendations for these mechanical linkage triples?

I'm thinking 63 or 64s in the 350 and maybe 78-80s in the two 500s ?
Maybe even 86-88 in the 500s if you don't use powervalves in them?

Curious if anyone has fiddled with them enough to have sorted them well.

And re the side hung vs centre hung float bowls - if you're running metering blocks on all three carbs you HAVE to run side hung bowls as the carbs physically won't fit on a std manifold with centre hung.

So if I purchase the Promax jet plates for my outboard carbs so I can rejet them will I have the same problem?

so i bummed these carbs off of betpshrods earlier this year and are looking to rebuild them. any suggestions for a cleaner that isnt going to harm the finish/stampings? they are very nice as far as the finish goes, and i like to leave things as original as possible [most of the time ]

Something I've been planning to purchase for some time (since I do a lot of fiddling with carbs)is an ultrasonic cleaner.
