    Video: Lonestar Moparfest 2012

    There was a 70 Charger in B5 with white vinyl top and blue interior, nearly identical to my first car.  Both 383 4-bbls and 727, although this one is a 500 while mine was a SE with column shifter and the "buddy" center seat.  The owner was kind enough to let me sit in it.

    Yes, still digging Uriah Heep!  Thanks for the kind words.

    As for 2013, nothing official but highly likely this event will once again be in mid-October.  October is by far the nicest month in Houston for an all-day outdoor event, so don't see that changing.  If you pre-register, admission is free.  If I remember right, the tech card to run autocross & drag race were only $20.  In any case, everything is very affordable. 

    P.S.  Thanks to Hennessey and SpaceCity LX for putting on this event, they do a great job.

    That looked like a really fun time. I wish I lived closer I'd go.  I have realatives in Witchita Falls maybe I should go for a visit next year...
