hi there
are any running a blue Mopar Performance Voltage Regulators ( Voltage is held at a costant 13.5 volts ] on the street ?
i have a littel problem at idle  700 rpm when running with  2 fan+fuel pumps + headslights   volt can drob to 11 volt  ...at higher rpm  1200 no problems show   14 volt

Have you considered putting in relays and running the extras directly from the battery?

A different reg will not help , at idle your alt is simply not making enough power for all the accessories , using a modern alt may help such as a Denso unit .
