Redneck towing!
« on: October 22, 2012 - 08:16:41 AM »
So I needed to get the road runner to the new house but had a dilema-it is stripped and on a rotisserie.I was going to have my buddy load it onto his od school ramp truck but he is having detonation problems with his new 454.So,I had two options-one was to call a towing co. for a flat bed and hope they were carefull with it or try and load it onto my car trailer.Problem is I have a 16" tralier and the rotisserie is 20' long but after some measuring I came up with a plan and it worked outgreat-the runner is i her new home.

A winch, some blocks and a little ingenuity and us rednecks can get things done!

It has had quarter skins done but I will redo it with full quarters. It needs a trunk pan and a small spot in the drivers pan but otherwise rust free.It will be a whole new experience not dealing with a total rust bucket!

I wouldn't be afraid towing that. Looks level & secure. I've seen people towing some crazy stuff that you wonder how they even got it all in one place!  :22yikes:
