BB Oil sending unit

Regarding the oil sending unit on a big block, can I use the hole on the passenger side (1/4”) for a second oil sending unit? I have the one in on the drive side but want to put a new gauge.

I wasn't aware there was a way to install a sending unit on the passenger's side. I assume it's a plug that you will have to drill out? If so, I see no reason why you can't. Pressure is pressure, no matter how many sending units you have.
