    245/40 front;  275/40 rear. I want the rears to look bigger.

    Maybe a dumb question but wheels are centered on the Hub with acorn style lugnuts correct? I am trying to figure out if i should open up the rotor center hole or turn The drum hub down for a disc brake swap. And I plan on running these wheels

    I'd open up the rotor before I'd take material away from the bearing area.

    Here are some photos of the wheels on a scale. We use this scale for shipping so it should be pretty accurate...

    By the way, I checked the runout... a respectable 11 thousandths over about a quarter turn.

    Tires should be mounted today. I'll weigh them again afterward.

    The wheels do not come with valve stems but it appears to accept a typical rubber valve, though I'm going to see if any of the metal valves I have here will work.

    on the year one website it states that the 17x8 rallyes have a 4 1/4 backset. Is that correct or should it be 4 1/2".

    A few more pictures...
    1) Wheels have their rubbers on  :naughty:
    2) Front mounted weight is 51.5 lbs not including lugs or center cap
    3) Rear mounted weight is 55.9 lbs.....
    4) Testing the wheel roundness
    5) Nestled safely in my garage waiting for the rain to stop...Saturday is supposed to be a sunny 55°. :bigsmile:
