Looking good, very nice. What size tires and brands? Looking forward to a sunny weekend and pictures with new shoes on your car. :jumping:

Combo looks great on the car. I think it really retains the factory feel allowing wider tires. Could you provide measurements of ground to the wheelwell? I know my back might be sitting low. BTW, my car has the same color and black vinyl top as yours but with factory rallye stripes. Thanks for sharing.

Your car looks great , as do the rims! Year one did a great job.  It's just that it looks like they need taller rubber or something?  :-\  It's not quite "the rubber band look" but it's got me thinking....
I was decided on 18" rims , now seeing this , it has got me thinking again.... :pullinghair:
I REALLY wish the tire manufacturers had more size selections! :banghead:

Curious how's the ride as compared to your old rims/tires?

I liked these wheels the first time I saw them in a Mopar magazine. It's the look I've been wanting for a long time plus being able to run modern tires is great. The old school camero guys have had wheel and tire options for years. I was always envious of there 17 inch wheel options. The 245/45/17 tire is a good fit for most of these cars but I've had a number of camero guys tell me that the 50 series tires are a little softer on the suspension especially on California roads. One negative for me is that there are no raised white letter tires available and my car just pops with white letter tires.

Thanks all for the comments. All I need now is a little body work and a posi diff to make it perfect.

I'll get this tonight (If I can remember) I'd like to lower the front a hair, maybe a ½" or so.

I agree. I would have preferred a 50, maybe a 55 on the rear. But that size is hard to find, and when I found 1, there was not a matching front... Interestingly though, I did not think about this until I saw these pictures. In person it looks fine. Maybe the photos skew reality a little.

The ride is more rough, but it's not bad at all. The suspension on the car is pretty soft. Those with more modern suspension may notice a bigger difference. It doesn't bother me much as this is my weekend boulevard cruiser.

OK, I'm sold!  They look better than I thought they would.

Thanks. They actually look pretty good even without the center caps., provided you have shorter lug nuts. a few hundred dollars cheaper too.

Great look, and I agree that a little taller on back would look even better.  I just went through every possible size at Tirerack.com and you're right there is virtually no other options for these rims.  I found a few 285/40/17's vs your 275's but for .3 inches in extra diameter you're limited to just a couple of choices and everything costs a good bit more.  Not worth the difference really.  Maybe if you're car was a bit lower all the way around? .....
