    Hello everyone! My name is Marcio Robles and I am from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil!

    I have a Dodge Challenger 1972 and I am so proud of one of a few guys in my country that owns such an amazing car!

    After watching the Silva fight the other night me and a friend were actually talking about weather there were any e bodies down in Brazil.
    It's nice to know there is at least one!

    Any more details of your car?

    Those ramp stands are pretty cool looking.  Can't say I've seen a pair that looks like that before.

    How did it make it's way to Brazil?  Was it exported there back in 1972 to a dealer or did an owner bring it there later in it's life?

    Don't know of any other Brazilian Challengers, but I know of one with Venezuelan roots, El Hemi!

    1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

    Hello everyone! Thanks for the welcome, seams I have new friends worldwide!

    This challenger was imported from Canada by a friend of mine's father. I know this friend for a coulpe of year once we are from the same Mopar's Brazilian group. I have also a Brazilian dodge Dart as he also have. The only dodge car manufactured in Brazil during the 70's and 80's. After that they shutdown their plant. Fiat bought their operations. (shame)

    Currently, Brazilian economy is way better than what was during 80's and 90's.

    To my surprise his dad decied to sell the challenger after a while. Last year I went to his home town to negociate and we had a deal.

    The car came with a 440 with some parts in the engine not compatible. Such as intake manifold and camshaft. Then I replace the following:

    1) Intake manifold to a Performer RPM
    2) MSD distributor billet
    3) Milodon Oil Pan
    4) Hotchkis suspension kit

    Also, I am glad to read a post related to excessive heating. I discovered the aftermarket water pump installed was restricting the water. Just replaced to a Milodon's one and the problem desaperied!!! Thanks!!!!

    Now I am looking for some exterior parts, but my English limitations are giving me a hard time to find it once I dn't know the proper name of these parts. Maybe I have to post pictures and you gays can teach me.

    Also, if any of you guys have plans to come to Brazil, welcome! Just let me know!

    By the way, Anderson Silva is quite good isn't it?

    I think the show Car Carzy did an episode down that way.Looked like quite a few American cars as well as European imports down there.  :2thumbs:

    Guys! Sorry for the pypo mistake! (gays...) Too much caipirinhas...

    Please see attached a picture of my car with two arrows showing the part I am looking for. I don´t  know how should I call it. Is it a trim? Molding? If anyone can help me also indicating where I can buy it I can buy a couple of beers!  :cheers:
