AAR Cuda Registries
« on: October 29, 2012 - 04:41:17 PM »
I recently bought a project AAR Cuda and was wondering about on-line registries.
I've found a couple on line with great information, but they both seem to have not been updated in years ???

I like the ability to check through VIN lists and compare my car to others as far as colors and options and such.

Is there an on-line registry that has up to date info? :dunno:

There is a guy in Alaska that seems to have a T/A registry and a 70 Hamtramck registry, but I can't find any place on-line to access the same type color/option info as the other sites....Is his top secret info ?

My project is a complete numbers matching car that been off the road for years. It's an automatic FC7 purple with white interior. I'm looking for the original broadcast sheet.

That is because this information does not exist, Chrysler never tracked that information.  The stuff listed on other websites is based off registered or known cars.

Barry, is the resident expert on T/As as they where all built at Hamtramck.

I've been to Barry's web site(s) often, I know for obvious reasons he can't list all the Hamtramck info, but it would be neat to see the VIN break down of his T/A info or AAR info like the other AAR registry sites have available.
That's all I was saying. :-[
I'm certain Barry is up-dating his sites all the time, so my original inquiry for this thread was asking if there are any truly up-to-date AAR registries that display their VIN info with color and option break downs?

And of course, I realize we are only dealing with KNOWN examples....

I agree.   Get a website and get lookin and comparing!

Seriously though, that's my one complaint about the mentioned registry.
Info is there for the owner of the registry and a few buddies.
I would love to just read through those details mentioned.

Doesn't Galen Govier claim to have some good info on some of the color and option breakdown's?

I doubt Chrysler, Dodge, Plymouth have any records on the colors per models.

Since the Trans Am package was an option you can't determine how many were built in a particular color. The registries are your best source for this information.

Go to the Hamtramck registry. Barry offers various services, one of which is a color report. He will tell how you many AARs he has registered in FC7 with a white interior lots of good information and only $20.
