1970 Convertible worth
« on: October 29, 2012 - 10:48:53 PM »
Can someone give me a quick opinion.

Worth of a 70 vert barracuda 318.

Red on red with white top.

Very little rust.

Numbers matching.

This is a true red on red 318 car that needs the restoration completed. Matching Numbers engine and transmission that needs rebuilt.

Interior is complete but needs recovering. I have all the trim to the car.

The frame, frame rails, shock towers are all in good condition. Some rust near the bottom of quarter panels on both sides.

The floors and the trunk pan are fine.

I have the original documentation such as window sticker and service documents. Clean and clear title. Im the 3rd owner.

If I could have jumped in my ride and driven 1500 miles in a few seconds I would have been there already.

I was second in line and a local purchased it before I could get my cousin there.

I am truely heart broken.  Red on red with a white top.  Killing me!

Yup definately a deal. I've missed out on a couple of those lately. The worst part is that it will probably be on ebay in a week or two by the buyer trying to cash in.

I had first shot at this one @ $3k. I was crazy busy that week and couldn't get it done.
