I want to fit 325/50/15 drag radials under my Cuda. I've got a '68 B body rear for it. I don't think just the offset hangers will move the springs in quite enough will it? I've heard you also have to use SS springs with the offset hangers. I really don't want to use the SS springs. Don't want it sitting up that high.
The 3" relocation kit that welds into the frame would move the spring far enough but seems like it would put the springs at a pretty serious angle even if I used a 1" offset hanger in the rear. Would this be a problem? Also, it looks like using the offset hanger in the rear would bring it in contact with the rear valance. Oh, and one more issue, the area of the frame that would get notched out for the 3" kit is right where my sub frame connectors bolt on. Anybody using the 3" kit with bolt in sub frame connectors? How do you make that work?

The b-body rear with ss-springs and offset front hanger/rear shackles combo will accommodate a 325 tire, but just barely.  You end up having to trim the wheel well lip too.  Even then, the tires will rub on the inner fender and the spring behind the axle when cornering.
 
By the way, you don't have to go the ss spring route.  I made offset front hangers to mount stock length springs and purchased the rear offset shackles.  This makes more of a bolt in solution.
