Don't forget to vote Tuesday.
« on: November 06, 2012 - 12:32:11 AM »
Just back from an awesome Romney event in Manchester, NH.  He was introduced by all of the political mainstays in the state.  Then he had Kid Rock play a few great songs to get the crowd rev'ed up.  And then finally gave us a compelling reason to vote for him this time around.

I hope you vote on Tuesday, no matter who your guy is.  But I do hope you vote for Mitt.  I think he has a better chance of turning the economy around, and I think that will be better for everyone.

Man, I saw the time you posted!  1:32 am!!!  Out partying!

Cool, Kid Rock?  I saw Aerosmith yesterday.  They had a free concert on Comm. Ave in Allston, MA to celebrate their new album out today.

Still waffling on who to vote for.  Will vote later today.  Thanks for the reminder.

Due to the overwhelming number of voters expected to turn out for this Presidential election it was just announced, in an effort to ease congestion at the polling booth’s the election process will be extended to three days. On Tuesday November 6th All Republicans are to report to their district polling station to cast their vote. On Wednesday November 7th all Democrats can cast their vote and Thursday November 8th will be used as an extended voting day for anyone who cannot make their scheduled voting day. Pass this on to all you friends and family to ensure you do not arrive on the wrong day!  nana

Really? with all the election coverage, I didn't think anyone would still be undecided.

Just a little trivia. It appears to be a fifty/fifty split between Barak and Romney in the US. A poll up here in Canada had Barak favoured eight to one over Romney.

Thank God we're not Canada.

We have a choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich.

They both suck.

But I'll definitely go and vote.

I heard this one today and it made me giggle....
"We are expecting Obama to get out to an early lead today but then the republicans will get off work and start voting."

I find it interesting that both our countries vote/think similar?   liberal vs Conservative

To me liberal = socialism, people that expect the government to hand them everything, want more government, a sense of entitlement, etc....

"We have a choice between a giant douche and a turd sandwich." pretty much the same here.......  no such thing a a perfect candidate that's for sure! ( in both our countries)

It was strange here in Maryland today. Normally I can walk in and vote, and come back out without much wait. Today I had to stand in line for over an hour. Maryland is more than 2/3 Democrat, so the outcome here is obvious. There are several questions on the ballet about us here at a State level... Expanding gambling and such, maybe that's why to big turnout.   :dunno:  Anyway, it good to see interest in voting is high here for a change.

You guys in have it too hard. Here in Oregon we vote by mail and have since 1998. I got my ballot in the mail about three weeks ago, filled it out, and dropped in the mail. Waayyyy too easy. I forgot what it was like to go to the polling station, and definitely don't miss it.
