New shelf in my home office
« on: November 08, 2012 - 05:59:12 PM »
So I bought and constructed some new shelfs not to long ago and since I freshly painted my office, I tried to organize my crap and this is what I finished with.  Of course had to have some ebody stuff to highlight the boring stuff . . . . lol

I have alot more die casts stashed away and soon I will break them out and add some more here and there.

Very nice Dave, I like the glass doors. Was this a kit you assembled yourself?? :dunno:

Yeah it was a kit . . comes in many pieces and I got it from Ikea.  My thought was that I needed somewhere to keep my movies and have them look acceptable and of course add some MOPAR stuff in there as well.  Since this is my office, here is my desk and a view of the room.  I think I have it close to what I was thinking it was going to look like . . . .  :icon16:

Are those CD's or DVD's that you have stored there?

I find my CD collection annoying now. I can have them on MP3 files now if I wanted to, and eliminate my clutter. Have I done that yet? No.   :walkaway:

Love it!   :wow:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.

Yeah they are all regular DVDs . . . I keep the blue rays in the theatre room in the basement.   I agree with the cd issue, I have mine stored in a stand in the mechanical room in my basement.  Certainly don't use them much now that most music is digital.

I love those shelves from IKEA. I have the same white shelves, but I got the corner unit. Fairly solid stuff for coming in a little tiny box.

I have a lot of IKEA stuff at home. I got a giant sectional couch (Karlstad) with left and right chaise ends on my screened porch. It's held up fairly well, considering that tends to be where the cats hang out.  :poopoke:
