Hey guys, just wanted to say hi. Looking at getting a cuda and have spent the last week delving through the wealth of information on the forum. Glad to be here and hope to be joining for 'real' just as soon as I can find the right car.

Jonny

My uncle Lou was and is a mean hardassed SOB. I always liked him for it. He once said their are 3 types of people:

1. Take-a-parts
2. Put-togethers
3. Take-a-part-put-togethers

And to not be the first type. I have bought non-running cars before and brought them back to life and given them a No.3 (take a part put together), but never had the facilities for a No.2 - so I don't do it, because I would hate to slip into a number 1.

I have some cash set aside: about $15k. Am going to check out this car in phoenix.

Feel free to give me your opinion: what you think is wrong with it, what you think is a fair price, anything I should look for (good or bad).
I'm going to fly down from Sacramento (current residence) and visit a friend of mine in Phoenix for a day or two and check out the car while I'm there.
