Help removing gutter chrome molding

Hi If anyone has removed dodge challenger gutter chrome molding please let me know how to do it without damaging it.
I am unsure how to do it on my 72 Challenger.

Pull the rubber out of the channel after taking out the screws that hold the front end of it in.
Take out the screws and remove the weatherstrip channel.
Remove the screws that anchor the gutter stainless.
There's sticky weatherstrip under it, so you need to gently pry it away from the sheet metal.
Pull it down and away in a curved motion so it can release around the corners.

Go slowly, and make sure you get all the screws out, as sometimes you miss one or two in the rubber molding.

I used a sharp putty knife to pry and cut the seal. As mentioned, take your time

If you have to pry them off ,I would park the car in the sun for a few hours to loosen the tar like glue that is used to seal the moldings to the drip rail.
