Hard to imagine having those tires with a 6 under the hood.

The goal never changes - Stop the 60' timer with your back tires

:iagree:  Those tires are massive for that little engine!   :grinyes:

Wasn't the leaning tower of power rated at 145 HP? There is no way it would spin those big rear tires... Unless you were on ice.

I would be interested in how well you feel that slant-6 pulls the car around.

There was a slant-6 Barracuda vert at Carlisle a few years back. It wasn't restored or modified any( dark green of course). The thing that struck me was how quiet is was when it drove past. I'm just so used to loud exhaust I guess.

Does the fender tag have M46 ?

Sure aren't a lot of /6's left out there.

You can make those engines look really good and run pretty fair.

Check out this one !

i'll be following this to see how you get along! i started a slant 6 '70 barracuda as well, thought about keeping the engine (for a full minute), than yanked it out and sold it to the lowest bidder!  :ylsuper:
