    Trunk is welded in and existent ion all rust fixed had to make to wheel well patches and the rear rocker patches next getting these quarters hung and tail panel installed hopefully it will be back on the ground next month.

    Here's an update been a while roof is ready to weld up quarters are claimed up last that's left is to fit the tail panel and clamp it up enjoy!

    Looks really good James.

    Do you plan on leading the quarter panel seams?
    I recommend that procedure over anything else.

    I had not thought about it thought about using some all metal filler wish has worked really well on my challenger and I think this car has way more spot welds than oem, and the other issue is I'm not a good lead worker when trying it on the challenger.

    You know what!

    You can do lead work.

    I've seen too many under par seal panel areas  at car shows not to even think doing anything else.

    Heck I didn't know either. Fumbled at first.

    Once my fire instincts kicked in, I figured it out.
    Wasn't easy. Help here and there and researches.

    I dropped enough lead at first to equal what I lost fishing in one year.

    "usraptr" = United States raptor - bird of prey = United States Bald Eagle.  FYI, somebody else thought of it first so I had to drop the "O" in raptor.

    When finishing up those quarters make sure the rear marker cutouts give enough room for the marker light housing to clear the bottom of the trunk pan. If not done properly the bottom of the marker light housing hits and cannot be installed the way it is.

    Don't ask me how I know.... :bricks1:

    In the area of where the roof and quarter meet, i will be cutting and adding steel to the quarter panel or roof turret, not sure which one yet, but i will make one panel weld on to the inner structure and the other panel meet up to the opposing panel and metal finish the area. I really hate lead as it has a bad habit of hiding problems until they are way too seveer, not a big fan of bondo either, only use that stuff sparingly if at all on a repair. That is my :2cents:

    Looks great with all the body panels on but the shot of the trunk pan looks awesome too!  Nice work!  :thumbsup:

    lol fortunately hp i know what your talking about! i have made this mistake on this car little hammering was involved but my side markers fit seem like AMD has to much angle upward in there dye when making the trunk extensions. so we need to get this along to other members and stuff to watch out for on the panels even my passenger side quarters has to much material in front of the wheel well causing it to bow out so ill have to adjust that but at least we have replacement panels i had Goodmarks before and they were such a bad fit i actually sold hem to buy AMD's and the difference was night and day!

    ok guys back together again tail panel is fitted for the last time as well as the quarters welded the roof on for good. used Becks idea for the spot welds doing them from the underneith on the drip rail instead of the roof came our really nice! tail panel to rear quater is a pain in the a$$ fitment wise but i think i got it final put some tail lights in her to see how she looked let me know what you guys think! any feed back is great and if anything looks outta place let me know! before i weld her up  ;)
