Saw something big dark and football shaped move slowly behind a mountain in broad daylight with a clear blue sky once.    So seeing that it was flying and I couldn't identify it then my answer is yes maybe.

I actually believe all the abduction stuff and mutilations aren't done by aliens it's done by us coming back from the future in so called ufo's.   Picture a super hi tech future world with emaciated sickly gray humans with a polluted  gene pool.  They are trying to save themselves with fresh DNA.

To believe that we humans are the only intelligence in this vast universe is just too much to fathom. To believe other intelligent beings have visited us (in our tiny part of this vast universe) is also too much to fathom. We are just not that important when you look at the big picture.

:iagree:  The universe is too big for just us to be here.

I kinda think that aliens are like an advanced version of humans.  Cave people had smaller brain cavities and more musculal bodies, needed to survive back then.

Aliens, at least as they are portrayed, have smaller less muscular bodies with a very large brain cavity, owing to the increase brain size and assumeably increased intellect and less reliance on physical strength.

So, I wonder, are the alien civilization potentially advanced humans in the future?

Well, maybe some by natural selection get stamped out...   :roflsmiley:

Cousin & I saw one at night while backpacking up at 10,000 ft. elevation above Yosemite in 72'.

Many years later, while watching a show on UFO's they described the same exact siting we saw.
3 lights in a triangular pattern.

We saw it moving very fast.
Yet slower than a shooting star, faster than a Jet. No sound.

The earth is 4 and a half billion years old. We humans have been here only a tiny fraction of that time. Is it possible that some other intelligent life has evolved here and is still here? Makes you have to think about it doesn't it?   :misbehaving:

When I was in 12th grade, about 1986 or so, I saw something in the sky and got my binoculars out.  I think it was in the very early morning as the sun was coming out.  It looked similar in shape to those old kids tops that had a rod that you pull up on and when you push down on it, the top rotates.

I remember it very slowly rotating and could see a porthole and a door of sorts.  I told my physics professuer about it.  He didn't know what to make of it as he said it wasn't a weather balloon and there were no satellites in this part of the hemisphere...  :dunno:

Similar in shape to the below toy...

In the late 80's late in the evening at twilight myself and 3 other family members witnessed a large craft looked like a b2 stealth bomber triangular and I guess there were 1000;s of reported sighting of a similar craft from seattle all the way down to southern oregon. It had over 100ft wingspan floating , Made No noise, travelling about 15mph down highway 14 near the skamania , washougal county lines. I could have hit it with a rock it was that low. To this day I think of it as nothing but manmade, a stealth blimp of some sort. Not little green men from Venus although I believe life does exist on other planets and other dimensions.
