Two '71 Hemicudas' in Hawaii video
« on: November 14, 2012 - 03:28:43 AM »
I've been away for a long while while trying to get this project Hemicuda convertible done. The white one is the one I converted to an SRT 6.1 Hemi powered car a few years back...

Short video and hope you enjoy it. Plan to do some nice smokey burnout videos in the future with more action :) Still breaking her in :)

Great cars. I'm partial to the white one. Any threads on it? I'd like to see the interior.

Good music choice as well. The new album is still settling in with me.

Dutch, thanks for the welcome back! Yes, I love the white and black theme. Actual original colors of the car. I would have never thought white could look that good. I sold the car a few years back to my buddy (who actually sold me the car as a project). We named it the Great White ;)

Thanks Brad! The convertible was a dream of mine since I was 12 years old. I had seen it on the cover of Musclecar Review in '87 and wanted one ever since :)

Willhaven, I'll try to get some pics up when I get home (work now). The interior is that one year only black with orange seats. Looks awesome in the white. Originally black leather tho... On Moparts I posted a thread years ago on how to do the 6.1 Hemi conversion. It's in the Tech Archives I believe. Glad you like Deftones. I have yet to listen to a bad album from them :)

Michelle, Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! Next video will be more of an action filled one ;)

Both cars are great but the purple and white one makes me
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Awesome.  2 of my 3 favorite 1971 'Cuda color combos.  I'm partial to the orange seats, of course...
