Steering Column Parts
« on: November 16, 2012 - 02:27:01 PM »
I am in the middle of rebuilding my steering column.

It looks like I need the bearring that goes in the uper potion of the column, in the section under the crush can??

Seems to be the only part I can not locate.

Anyone know where I can source one?????

Thanks,

Jason

I have seen them on ebay.  Not sure of other suppliers.

How do you know when the steering column needs a rebuild?
My 72 cuda has a nasty rattle inside, near the ignition key area.  Drives me crazy.  Are bearings something I too need to replace?

What else can cause all that rattling?
