    Those pics of the cars are older.
    Both cars(one mine, one is my wife's) were without engines at the time.

    Mine is a 4 speed, the wife's is an automatic.

    I'm doing a different type restoration on my car as I went through the engine and drivetrain, installed it in the car and am working on getting everything tuned and running perfect before messing with the body and paint.
    I have a bad habit of scratching things while leaning over the fenders to work on the engine. :crying:

    I did strip and paint the rust free engine compartment before installing the engine/tranny.

    I got the 440 Six Pack installed in mine and running/driving this last summer but it needs more tinkering and assembly.

    I'm also going to lower the car and change wheels and tires (Santa brought the new wheels already, pic below)

    I hope to get the 440 Six Pack installed in my wife's next summer.

    Car looks nice....Coming from the owner of a FC7 71 Challenger....You should have stuck to GY3...I'd be crazy excited if my 71 was curious yellow....but like said above...to each their own...keep up the great work...

    Three more pics. Final preparation before paint. My body man said he should paint it wednesday, (January 2nd), and than, a couple of days for final buffing. and finally, bring it back home for re-assembly!!!

    Hi Everyone...

    Car was finally painted january 2nd. That's the only pic I have, (so far), sent by my body man. Car needs buffing, and then, I'll bring it back home. By the way, I am still looking for the wide hood/fenders moldings, (code M28). Happy new year to all!

    Hello everyone...

    The car came back home january 11 and I started to install a few parts on it.  The first week-end, I installed a few components under the hood, and the clutch/ brake pedals assemble, (with the brake booster). I am converting it to four speed, (was automatic) and I am addiding power disc brake, (came manual drums). Note the 1970 brake booster. I know it's not the right one for the car, but I had it for free from a good friend of mine, so, it's ok...LOL.  Last week-end, i re-installes side glasses with the mecanisns. Not a fun job, but it has to be done. Still have to adjust everything, but I need to install the drip rubber first.  Note the chrome  mirrors...  Next on the list is the headliner... Here are a few pics.

    Car looks great! Congrats on the progress you will be cruising soon enough, and i think what you are doing with the drivetrain and color swap is awesome.
