More attention if it was painted the original colour 
Well, I have absolutely not regrets with the colour decision. I made about ten changes to the car, but those changes are correct for the model, if it would have been ordered this way. In fact, I built it the way I would have ordered it if I would have bought it new. Since I was 4 years old in 1971, I never had the chance to order a "new" muscle Mopar. So, I built that one to my personal taste. Some may like it, some may not. Again, if it would have been a 440-6 or Hemi, I would have respected the built sheet, but a 383 71 Chally doesn't get a lot of attention in car shows. And yes, I would have ordered it with a 383, because i just love that engine, and, it was the largest mill available with A/C in an E-body by 1971 (a 440 magnum -U code- was not available in E-bodies in 1971 and A/C wasn't available on a 440-6 or Hemi). So, this is why I decided to paint it Plum crazy.
