Northeast Carlisle Caravan
« on: March 02, 2005 - 03:07:58 PM »
Ok guys, anyone headed to Carlile from the Northeast please post here and let us know where you are coming from.  Joe and I are coming from NY, about 2 hrs north of NYC.  Once everyone has posted we can figure out how this caravan should be set up.  I'm open to any and all suggestions.

April

PS: Also, please include what day you plan on hittin' the road.

Leaving from Long Island, but don't know if we would be able to take anything. No convertible ready yet. Friend may not want to take his T/A or his Cuda. Other friends that may  be travelingl with us are Chevy guys, just going along for the ride. What about bringing back parts? Is there going to be someone with a truck who may be willing to store parts for a reasonable fee?

Still trying to get my friend to drive his rallye red T/A. He's worried about the distance from Long Island to Pa.

I am leaving Thursday from Wappingers Falls in Dutchess COunty.  I am sure we could meet up.  Albany is only about an hour- 1 1/2 hrs from me.  What time are you guys planning on getting to Carlisle?

Last year they left up here around 11 AM. I think this year will be about the same. We will discuss it more the closer it gets. Assuming we are having summer this year.

Central NJ.. close to PA border. Prob going for one day. Not sure if it's gonna be Friday or Sat.

Will prob leave by 5 AM. May be taking some e-bod stuff to sell. Looks like I'll be selling the 71 barracuda. Gonna put it on the bay to the highest bidder. If not, may bring to Carlisle.. that way folks can see all that needs to be fixed.

Rev - it's going towards my wife's kitchen.. so sorry this cannot be a cuda-challenger donation car  :)

The car needs to be restored obviously.. has 1/4 rust & floor rot. But for someone who does their own metal fabrication.. it's not a big deal. I'm going to put together & spray a coat of primer on it (metal now). I'm going to list w/ a reserve of 6500 and a buy it now for 9500. I expect to get somewhere in between.

re: michelle - I can't believe you are getting kenny to go.. LMAO It may work out that we go on Sat.. if so, we'll def see you there.
