Duff's - 1971 'Cuda 383 4spd B5 Blue
« on: November 20, 2012 - 07:56:31 PM »
After 2 years of searching i've finally bought a 1971 Plymouth 'cuda!!!  The car I bought is a matching numbers engine and tranny 383 4-speed and comes with fender tag and 3, yes 3, buildsheets.  The car is B5 blue, rally dash, leather interior, has wood trim on the interior panels, manual steering, manual brakes, road lamps.  The fender tag readout is:

R11 R31 EN2
M31 M88 N41 N42 N85
J25 J45 J54 L34 M21 M25
GB5 U A62 C16 C55 G36
GB5 SRX9 000 608 077282
E65 D21 BS23 N1B 4194XX

Anything special on here?

The car came complete and with several extra parts, even a couple NOS parts.  In addition to the stock parts, the car came with hemi leaf springs in the rear and a Dana 60 with 4:10 gears.

Currently the car has a rusty drivers Flinstones floor pan and needs a new one.  It's also got a few holes on the passenger side floor pan.

Pictures coming up...

Any ideas on what your plans for the car are?  Based to original or mods?

@MizzouRT

My plans for the car are to do the necessary metalwork for the car, do a minimal amount of painting while keeping much of the patina on the car, and drive it daily in Hollywood, CA!  Maybe sometime in the far future i'll do a more comprehensive restoration when i've got the dough, but for now my focus is on getting it running and operating without ruining any of the car's survivorness...

@Brad

I stole it   :money:

Looks like a FANTASTIC project.  Great find man!  :bananasmi:
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
