Duff! That does not even look like the same car I saw out here in LA.  You've done a superlative job.
Amazing!!

Thanks for the support guys!  It truly helps me keep motivated on the project.  As it stands right now, i'm trying to set a goal of having a running car by christmas.  Not sure how far along i'll get with that goal, but i'm going for it anyway.

The engine is painted now, the front suspension is going back together, and after receiving shackles and hangers from megaparts (thx for the reco anlauto) i'm happy to report that the rear end is in the car, kinda.  Upon tightening the u-bolts some of the threads stripped, so after sandblasting and painting those, they'll still get replaced with new ones.  Lesson learned.  I also got some goodies from right stuff and got my front to rear brake line installed and the lines on the rear end from the drums to the block.  I started installing my emergency brake line kit from them too, which i'm extremely excited about the quality of... very nice looking upgrade.

Next up is getting this beauty queen back on her feet, finishing up installing the brake system components, painting the bell housing, tranny, and driveshaft, and getting everything married up.   :2thumbs:

More pics.  One of them shows the old leaf spring hangers.  It's crazy how the car tells a story.  This one's story is the original owner must've wanted more tire clearance so he put a 68-69 track lock 4.10 dana rear in the car with offset shackles and offset hangers that push the tires back and down.  He also plumbed in a new brake line, but just ran it straight to the back and zip-tied it to the old line.  Quality.  He ran a black and a red wire to the back that I assume were for an electronic fuel pump.  Thank god he didn't chew up the car in any other crazy ways or do any cutting on the frame, etc. cause when buying this car there's a good chance i'd have missed something like that, so I feel lucky.

Yes I do!  I think I actually might've actually texted you, got the recommendation, and ordered them from Roseville after maybe?  But yes!  I do have them, they're just not installed quite yet...  Thanks again for your continued help!  I really would be taking waaaaay longer at this project if it wasn't for your help and the help of others here. :cooldancing:

Sure.  Other cars in the shop are:

1971 challenger vert 318.
1970 V code rally red black vinyl top cuda.
1971 charger r/t 440 magnum
1970 challenger t/a survivor original paint 4 speed car.

On the left of the challenger there's another 1971 charger, and being finished up is a 1970 r/t coronet b5 car he's installing a 6 pack hemi (yes, you read correctly) into, and a 1971 cuda curious yellow heavy options promotional vehicle.  He also just bought a 70 coronet vert.

More work last night.  Installed my new stainless fuel line (went with the 3/8" line just in case...), opened up the drums to install the e-brake cables, and like an idiot opened up my disc conversion kit and realized instantaneously that I wasted a bunch of time blasting, priming, painting, and clear-coating my old spindles... :banghead:

Detailed and started installing my disc brake stuff.

Put my k member onto the roll around.  Installed the flywheel, clutch, etc.  Ordered tons of parts from themoparshop.  Ed treated me right at the fall fling so I ordered from him again.  Got fantastic service from him and the parts were shipped same day with a tracking number in my email.  Can't wait to get them in and on the car.  Here are some more pics of the progress...
