Cool!  An A66 car!  Love those bumble bee stripes!

Hmmm...I don't know if the buildsheet location is specific for certain years.  In my '72 they were under the drivers seat (you could feel it...or what was left of it, by reaching under the seat.) and in the springs of the rear seat upright back cushion.  Other locatiosn are taped on top of the glove box, under tha carpet as you mentioned, behind the plastic seat backs of the frint seats, under the rear seat bottom cusshion....

I found mine as I was looking for mouse houses in my car!  :eek4:

Cool car!

I love the split bench seat option.
So very rarely do you see that remaining.

Does your car still have the bench seat?
That should be the one that looks like bucket backs and could very well have the build sheet in there.

Oh, LA car.  Probably not. But you never know.  there have been a few.

The last 6 digits (120148?) in the vin number are around 200 behind mine. Probably built in November 1969. Do you still have the tag on the driver side door jamb? It should have a month labeled on it.

Never seen a bench seat before, it looks more comfortable than a console/bucket setup. Did the Automatic column only work with this seat design?

Nice it's all original. Do you have time to post more pictures.

I think there are different bench seat options.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but I do believe there is a longer shift handle that would work for a bench car with no console.

Bench seats only with column shift automatic, no manuel shifting available.
"longer shift handle" not on E-bodys, maybe on B-bodys, where bench seats were very common
