    Hood latch issue

    the 70 I just got, cant pop the hood like normal.
    Im trying to see whats missing but cant find a pic of a complete
    good working unit.
    Can someone post a pic of what its suppose to look like in good shape ?
    heres a pic of what I have.
    The safety catch is still on mine btw, thats it.

    the latch will adjust up & down & side to side a little , & lube the mechanism .

    but Ive seen pics online of people selling a latch and mine is missing
    the big hood you first pull to pop it, or am I seeing things ?

    what lever or unit is suppose to be Pulled first to POP
    the hood ?
    thats what Im missing.

    that looks like th e72-74 in th picture , the 70 has a lever one the latch but it is 1 year only

    Im still lost here
    for a 70, whats the lever or rod look like that initially pops the hood ?
    and is it mounted to the hood, next to the safetly latch lever ?

    my car is missing the lever there you push to the Left to pop the hood, yes.
    BUT this one on ebay has what looks like a pull lever which my car and other
    cars Ive seen dont have either

    The picture you just posted of a red one on EBay is not correct for 1970. You have everything you need already on your hood.

    That is for  71+ Challengers
