Can incorrect pinion angle damage a 4 speed?

Can incorrect pinion angle and/or snubber adjustment damage an A833 4 speed?

If it was really bad (>10deg) for >10k miles, then, maybe, you could have some wear on the tail housing bushing.  Much more likely to take out u-joints.

You should have felt an annoying vibration.

I agree with the above that your U-joints will take the brunt of the abuse.
