Thermoquad Parts
« on: November 26, 2012 - 04:50:18 PM »
I finished rebuilding the correct TQ for my car and picked up a similar model carb and a few rebuild kits along the way.  I have a number of springs, clips linkages, and various other parts that might be useful to anyone else doing a rebuild.  Not all of the parts are in the best shape.  If you are looking for something shoot me a PM and I'll see what I have.

Greetings I am in search of the linkages that connect the choke to the secondaries on the carb along with the clips that hold it in place.  Mine is missing all together and I have no secondaries.  Any help?

Here's the generic exploded diagram.  Can you identify the numbers you are interested in?  I'll see what I have laying around

Thanks so much for your help. I would be in need of #16-#19. Somehow when I bought my cuda it is missing these all together. Again thank you!

Not sure on the Jets...how does one ID them?

As for the secondary air door spring, if you mean the tight coiled spring that there is a special tool to adjust (as described below) I have one:

Yes,  the little coil spring, as far as the jets go. they a two in the photo small short brass things and it should have a number stamped om the flat top of them .095/.098 etc . also the one photo o the top of the car has the two secondary jets long and same goes with the numbers stamped on the side, .137/ .143 / etc.

Jets are hard to read....they seem to have 409_ on top of them.  The secondaries are stamped 5143

Ok , that sound correct, you have the spring, the 143 jets and the other one could be 4092 ,4095 or 4098.

Let me know what your looking to get for them..

Thanks vinb

I've received more than enough help/free parts from here, at most I'd accept shipping which will probably be all of $5.

I'll have to remove the secondaries but the rest of it is all ready.  I'll try and get it out late this week / early next.  Just PM me your details.

No problem, glad you got what you were looking for.  If you come up missing any other parts, let me know.

1999c4co, the USPS shows that your parts have been delivered.  Let me know if they showed up.
