Gran Coupe door ajar switch
« on: November 27, 2012 - 05:58:06 PM »
Can anyone show me a pic of the door ajar switch, either a pic of the door jam with the switch or of the switch itself? This would be the switch that activates the overhead console door ajar light mounted in the door jam. I don't have the switches so I have no idea what they look like.

They look like the dome light switch on the front door jam where the hinges are attached. The overhead console door ajar switch is mounted on the rear door jam where the striker post is attached. Are the switches the same?

If you have the one in the front door jamb you could take it out and try. Just a thought

I found a really good pic of the switch in the door jamb from a restored Gran Coupe. It looks just like the one you showed me from Advance. Now I know what I need. Thanks for the help.
