Y'all, I got an email this morning from Ted Stephens of Stephen's performance (the mopar salvage) saying they were stranded in the UK and got mugged and needed money. I think they were hacked, has anyone else got this email? I plan to call them around 8:30 their time and see what they say. The grammar was terrible and I really find it odd that they would email random people on their mailing list for money...

Don't bother calling. It's a scammer.

I tried calling their office (not the scammer) but nobody answered. I sent a new email to them, but I don't know if the hackers will see it. I'll call them again in a few  hours. I hope nobody falls for that.

Sounds scammish to me too.  I got an email like that from a someone we knew.  They were at home, not stranded...

Somebody hacked my wife's yahoo once. She was sitting right there with me and her sister and her sister got an IM on yahoo from her. I started IMing back and whoever it was kept trying to say they weren't hacked!
