Back when Kansas first got into the lottery, my hometown newspaper spent $100 in tickets. They took all the winnings and bought more tickets the next day.   The idea was to see how long they could go.   They surprised me at how long they went.

3 days.

So you're saying I should take my $4 and  :walkaway:

Good advice.  I'll only be out $6 then.

But it was worth $6 to dream about how I would spend the winnings.

I will say that I bought some power ball tickets but I don't play that game much  . . . but I do play the lotto every week.  We have classic lotto 47 here in Michigan and I am addicted to it.  I track all the numbers and make logical choices when picking numbers.  I am working on my numbers now for tonights drawing.  I play 20 dollars worth every time which is 20 picks at 1 dollar each.  The jackpot if I win will probably be between 1 -1.5 million dollars.  This last draw which was the same day as the Powerball, I hit 3 numbers on 8 lines.  Which means out of the 20 picks, 8 of them won money.  Wasn't that much but it shows me that I am on the right trail.  The week before I had one ticket of 5 picks and 4 of them won money.

This game is just pick the 6 winning numbers out of 47 numbers . . no power ball or anything.  I think I would do just fine with 1.5 million even though I would only get about 600,000 take home . . . .
