70 Barracuda parts (pics added)
« on: December 01, 2012 - 11:01:05 PM »
:bananasmi. Finally got the deal I wanted on a '70.  Now the upgrades:  brighter headlites/tail lites,  front suspension improvements,  rear seat cover,  add power steering/go to pro-touring tire n wheel setup. Later add heat/ac.  Ideas appreciated. Greg in sw Ohio.

Thanks, David, for posting my pics. Now instead of "worthless"  is it worth-more? Lol.
Yes, it had a fiberglass pro-street hood. He kept it and the slicks. Stock 340 hood now but want to trade for an aar style so I can put my air breather back on!!! Any trades?

So this is a four year search completed. A lot of saving, some trading, and travel to eliminate $16,000 junk! Finally made a good deal.  440+, 727 manual valve body B&M, 411 Dana, strait body, no rust, frame tied, Weld wheels. (Wheels and tires , hood available) . Thanks.

Brad, I talked to the guy with the hood. Ten yrs old, edges slightly curled up. I've never worked with fglass. Opinion? Greg.

Well any fiberglass hood will require body work to get them straight, mine did. With this one I'd guess most of the hard work has already been done , you will have to paint it anyhow?. Also the price it great! You could sell the fenders and end up with a pretty cheap AAR hood in the end?

be careful with shipping the hood. had dhl do a number on an original TA hood once.  overinsure.  might get a good deal on the CL hood...if you are not getting the fenders.
