I'll bet its the top of the pistolgrip like a button. If not, that's what I'd do.

I had a friend who put a button on the top of his pistol grip for NOS and it was lit up - looked really cool.

The lever looks like an original and appears too thin to do that but maybe... I'm thinking maybe the whole shift has to be pushed down or to the side or something???

That's my guess too.

I just picked it up two weeks ago the Buckeye Burl and I could not believe how light as in the weight it was, so I had to stabilize it just to make sure it would not warp or crack. I am anxious to see how one turns out also maybe within the next couple of week I'll have some made up!!I'll make sure to let you know when I do have one ready!!

Well truth be known, when i was holding the different colour grips i got from you in full sunlight and rotated them in my hand, it is like they keep flipping colours and that they are 3 dimensional underneath the surface, like those old 3D rulers you used to get with the animals that moved when you moved the ruler up and down, is that an Aussie thing or did you guys have that in Canada too ?
