Looking for an E or B body Convertible
« on: December 09, 2012 - 07:38:33 AM »
I'd like to find an E- body convertible (Cuda or Challenger) I'd prefer a driver or an easy project but am open to bigger projects as well. I'd also consider a 1968-70 Roadrunner, GTX, Coronet, or Satellite Convertible as well. Let me know what you have or if you know someone that has something. Thanks Chris  - chrisrocha@comcast.net

I've had a few of these 64's.... of course, it's a B-body.

What year range you looking for?  My Dad and brothers are into the Coronets, Polara's, Belvedere's, and Satellites.  But mostly 63-66.  I'm an E-body guy myself.  You might throw out a price range too as it might help folks recommend projects that align within your specified budget.

Best of luck with your search.  Have a great day.

Cool car but I'm looking for 68-70 in a B-body or 70-71 in an E-body.

I have a 1970 Challenger convertible that I would consider selling. Originally a 318 A/C auto, it is now a Plum Crazy 440 Six Pack, 4 speed pistol grip with a shaker hood. I have collected most of the parts needed for a final correct restoration including correct number exhaust manifolds, all the Rallye dash trim pieces except the dash pad, console, etc. New top, Legendary seat covers, Rallye wheels, and more.  Runs great.  I am currently completing the full resto, and will be detailing the engine bay, trunk and interior this winter.  Needs AC (I'm in Texas!) installed, repaint, new carpet, but it is a driver right now and turns lots of heads.

Original California car, no rust except 2 spots fixed under doors.  All numbers matching body, so never wrecked, extremely clean body.  Not a junker, but a minimal restoration project at this point.  It has all the goodies.

$55,000.  PM me if interested.

That looks like a decent deal. I just picked up a beater 70 barracuda vert. It's almost nice enough to drive as is but rough around the edges for sure.

Ha Ha I'm trying as we speak. My phone is taking pictures in some whacky format and I can't get them to post. Just tried to do the fender tag. I started a post in the Vin & Fender tag section. It appears this car has a two tone red & white interior in it.
