I thought I'd rant a bit because I see a theme here in Moparland whereas a good deal of folks selling stuff have this arrogance about them when selling their wares. Regardless of what they have and what price they have set they believe they can basically call you an idiot and you still have to buy from them.
My recent experience with PGclassics where they shipped me the wrong item and I had to pay for return shipping was a real hoot. Just today I got off the phone with columbiaparts and he said he has to charge high prices on anything thats listed on ebay because there are so many idiots he has to charge that amount. Btw, his price was about double what others charged, besides his phone manners were really lacking.
Am I the only one seeing this crap? What happened to good customer service?
I tried Columbia & PG classics before and do what I can to avoid them based on experiences in the past.
If you want to buy on e Bay, try Hoovers Auto Parts. Also try Dave at Roseville.
Year One is expensive shipping and not that fast to the West Coast.
Classic Industries is closer to us out here (the equivalent of Year One for the West Coast)
RPS Restoration source is in Hayward. Tony is decent CS but follow up on special orders.
The Mopar Shop (Ed) is in Madera near Fresno.
Mega Parts has a nice cache of inventory as well.
Gotta source/qualify a little more Bryan and not pull the trigger so fast.
I rarely have issues but it took a while to learn who I go to and who to avoid.
