I notice that some mufflers have pipes welded to them, is that correct?  Will yours have the pipes already welded ?

Beautiful.  I believe I'm gonna need a new exhaust system in 2013.  Gotta get the dash pad in first.  Can't wait to learn more. :bananasmi

How do yours differ from Accurate LTD exhaust systems?

Wow Dave.  sounds like ECS has developed another great product just like the decals I have gotten from ya in the past!  So what kind of new thing is in the works for the future?

I would love to Hear audio of a stock system, the Accurate exhaust system ,( which I currently have installed ) , and Your reproduction of the origionals on a e-body is that possible?

Will you have any T/A-AAR exhaust components?  I got some mufflers for my T/A project from Dales cuda shop and am not very impressed.  So I ended up getting some NOS ones that have date codes way later than my car's build date.  Also, I still haven't got headpipes for my exhaust and correct muffler straps for OEM mufflers are made of "unobtanium" from what I can tell.
As always, thanks for your efforts Dave, and I've got 3 70-71 Challengers hoping you come out with correct trunk mats for them someday!!

I was contacted by one of the "competitors" who did not appreciate the information I conveyed here regarding the correctness of our products.  I feel that I should take this moment to clarify my position about this matter.  I stand by these statements 100%!!  If the "competition" doesn't like the fact that what they offer is a misrepresentation of what came originally from the Factory....TOUGH!!  Tomorrow I will post side by side comparisons of ALL of our Exhaust components with Assembly Line originals so everyone can see the authenticity of what we are offering.  I ask that the "competition" to do the same thing.  Business/Capitalism/Competition is letting the Industry know what features and benefits are superior within a product line.   Again, ECS is the ONLY company offering Factory Exact Exhaust Mufflers and Resonators for the 1969-1972 E-Body, B-Body & A-Body systems.  Sorry if these facts are not conducive to the "competitions" business agenda!

Excellent product! Unfortunatly for me it wont be necessary. I think it`s hysterical hearing the competition cry about it. They may as well have said excuse me ECS would you mind dumbing down your product it`s making ours look bad!  :smilielol:

I think there is room in the market for everybody making reproduction exhaust systems for our E Body Mopars.

From what I understand the three major players offering "complete" systems....

Accurate LTD
Gardner Exhaust
and now ECS

Each one of these companies also have very different price points that will appeal to the vast differences in hobbyists.

I believe ECS when they say that theirs are exact copies of factory originals based solely on their past products.

Up until this point, I believe Gardner was the most accurate, with Accurate LTD being the most affordable replacement exhaust available. I haven't dug deep into Accurate LTD's advertising, but I would assume they haven't made the same statements about their own products concerning accurate details as ECS has.

There will be people knocking down the doors of ECS to get their $1900 exhaust, and there will be people (presumably more) opting for the more affordable systems. There is a market for everyone.

I wait with anticipation to see the side-by-side pictures of this new product vs the factory original pieces, but I feel there is no need for ECS to put-down or point out deficiencies in other companies products just to help promote their own. :poopoke:

I too, can't wait for ECS to do correct trunk mats !

Point taken....
I don't work in manufacturing or advertising so my comments are only assumptions made on my own life experiences.

ECS's products to date are far superior and that is proven.  :worshippy

I am sure your exhaust system will be perfect! I am Happy with my Accurate system for the price I paid little over 1000 dollars and talked with the owner who was a really informative and nice guy. Even if this system is not perfect it was easy to install and had all the clearance bends in the system for easy install it sure fit like factory. I am curious now as to what a exact origional exhaust system sounds like.  :clueless: Anyone have any audio of a unmolested system. 440 style.

I am sure the ECS system will be stellar and quite competitive in the restoration market.
