Darren,
Words cannot express my most sincere condolences.
As a father of two young boys, I honestly don't know how I would find the strength.
Know that we all support you, and are here for you in your time of need.
I know that this is a really tough time for you and your family, and our thoughts and prayers may bring some comfort.
I am sure your son will continue to watch over you.
Best,
Dan Zimmermann

A good boy.

A great Dad to have had the strength to endure such heartbreak.  He will be with you always and forever.

This song gives me solace when I lose someone.   Perhaps it will touch your heart and give you comfort.

Jesus Savior Pilot Me- Robbie Seay Band

"Jesus, Savior, Pilot Me"

 Jesus, Savior, pilot me
 Over life's tempestuous sea;
 Unknown waves before me roll,
 Hiding rock and treacherous shoal.
 Chart and compass come from Thee:
 Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

 As a mother stills her child,
 Thou canst hush the ocean wild;
 Boisterous waves obey Thy will
 When Thou say'st to them, "Be still!"
 Wondrous Sovereign of the sea,
 Jesus, Savior, pilot me.

 When at last I near the shore,
 And the fearful breakers roar
 'Twixt me and the peaceful rest,
 Then, while leaning on Thy breast,
 May I hear Thee say to me,
 "Fear not, I will pilot thee."

As long as you remember Owen, he will never be truly dead, so hold the sweet memories of him that you have, close to your heart and know that both he and you have touched our hearts. Ian

So sorry to see this, definitely puts everything into perspective. I've never met you or Owen but somehow I feel like I know you both by following this thread. Prayers for you and your family.

I am very sorry for the loss of your son, Owen.  Take comfort in knowing that he is without pain and resting in peace.  His spirit lives on when we remember him.
