The whole thing is, he used to restore/drive Vert' E-bodies. These were parts cars in the 80's and 90's. He needed a fleet to keep his cars running. This is just what is left over from those times.
Even the 71 Vert wasn't worth saving years ago, the car has no options, Slant Six, Manual Steering, Manual drum brakes, manual top. 3-speed manual on the floor. Only thing it has is a body colored grille. He had R/T Challenger Convertibles and a 383 Cuda Vert he only sold a year or two ago.
I got that 69 440 now, that's sweet. Got a ton of 340 stuff.
