I'm still leaning towards the 1.12's specially now after reading 72 blunblu's post (318)

Maybe I should just listen to Brad  :icon16: but that would go to his head.   :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol:

I notice the hotchkis 1.1" bars come with boots and clips for $359. The firm feel's are $360 + $35 for boots.  :2cents:

I noticed the same thing w the FF vs Hotchkis bars (clips boots thing) . I'm not running out to the cold garage floor! It be real nice if FF would match Hotch.  :grinyes:

Here's a little pertinent info on the plates for the LCA's

Also check to see how loose they are. If so NOW is a good time to fix them.
Control arm repair

I'd add in to tighten them up a little more , weld in the stiffening plate with the end in a vise to pinch it shut a little more. A least tack weld it while in a vise?

I agree, my '73 still has the '73 boots 'n' clips - still in good shape.  But, if I can get new clips 'n' boots with my new t-bars, for the same price, I'd go for that deal!
I'm thinking that Hotchkis has more street cred than firm feel in the suspension department? Just my opinion.  :2cents:

Eh, I dunno. Firm Feel has been building handling mopars for the last 20 years and has been building mopars in general for the better half of a decade. Hotchkis has been producing parts for something like 5? Firm Feel definetly lacks the marketing savvy of Hotchkis and has relied entirely on word of mouth and small ads in mopar mags whereas Hotchkis produces parts for a multitude of makes, has a huge marketing department that attends events, produces videos, invites the press to events and makes sure their cars are in attendance to high profile activities.  Both entities have been racing cars for decades, although the nod may go to the Hotchkis' for higher level series.

OK, newb question here, how do you tell if your LCAs are worn to the point where you'd need to weld the bracing or get replacements?  Is it jugded by how much wiggle room there is for the torsion bar holder thingy (can't think of the proper name right now) and if the piece where the ball joint goes in is loose?  I have about 1/16 wiggle on the piece that receives the torsion bar end and the ball joint end piece is nice and snug.  Nothiing else appears to be bent or damaged.

Thanks!
Sean

Anyone had the need to replace the LCA rubber bumpers?   :dunno:  Just another piece of the puzzle.

Use these. Low profile, gives you more clearance for your lowered big torsion bar stance. Fit perfect, cheap. Done.
