I hear ya.... I'm wanting to take the fenders off to weld in the US Car Tool cowl brackets and install a new monster tranny cooler. Then make a T/A style spoiler but it's still cold and snowy.... :pullinghair:

Hey Bigs, if that's your driver's side rotor, it's on the wrong side. That's a pass side slotted rotor.  :2cents: Unless maybe different manufacturers have different ideas on which way the slots should be?

Nice machine work on the pins.  :2thumbs:

Well I not waiting for the weather any more. It was time to wake NIKKI up and get the party started. It was a balmy 31 degrees in the garage this morning with rain on the way. I charged up the battery 2 days ago. Brought all the parts I had home. So I got going and got everything down to my buddys shop... thats got heat and a rack! I cant bring it to mine, cant tie up the rack.

I pulled the coil wire and gave her a few spins to get some oil flowing. All good, she fires right up, no leaks , no nonsense. Off to a good start!  :cooldancing:

Continued the tear down, my LCA bushings sukazz! Never knew there was this issue. The CRAPPA from NAPA grease boots just as bad if not worse. These are only 2/3 years old and not more than a few K miles.  Replaceing w Energy Suspension

Sandblasted the LCA's, welded in the reinforcement plates. One LCA was missing a bumper, something else I never paid attention too.  :banghead: Lucky for me my buddy had a spare laying around.  :grinyes:

I will say the old T-BARS came out with relative ease. We've all heard the horor stories here. My clips and boots were good. The old ones look like originals.

I got a few questions....

1 - Where can I get replacement ball joint boots???   Cashed the lowers upon removal.

2 - The car measured 3/4 higher on the right side.  24 1/2 compared to 25 1/4  She always looked level, is this normal???

3 - Going to put offset bushings in the UCA's.  I heard somewhere to install one in one out insted of both in (the offset towards the car) am I nuts???

Your  :2cents: appriciated.

Gonna do more tomorrow... stay tuned  :working:
