Yesterday, we put the in LCA's and the strut arms. Right side was very smooth, left was a royal PITA! I couldnt quite the the correct geometry on the strut arm. started prying... not good to do, ended up moving the pin out of the LCA a little.
How to fix this???
We used the bucket tit on my buddys Kabota tractor, worked like a charm. Ended up positiong the LCA and strut arm together then put them in. Upon inspection of the old arm I noted a minor bend. I guessing from a past towing incedent maybe? Not that these cars were put together with great precision anyway. There is no evidence of front end collision on the rails anywhere.
