OK, first off I did have the bushings pressed in correctly!  :clapping:  Secondly, I "vised" the washers into the bushing. YES it did do a little distorting the bolt hole. But a rat tail file took care of that. If your doing it make sure you check bolt fitment before aligning into the car. Also watch when you press, its real easy to go off angle. Why this stuff is not stated in the directions.......  :screwy:

Ok, I'm getting close now. Got the Bilsteins in, and got the sway bar lined up and tightend.  Did a little brake bleed on the RT side as the line got loose manuvering the caliper around.

We did a priliminary adj on the T-bars. I'm thinking I'd like to go a little lower, butI'll wait till I get a few miles on them and go from there. Did a grease job so all the joints have fresh lube. Have to call my alignment guy..... think I'll get that done today if possible... ITS ACTUALLY SUNNY HERE!

Had the alignment done this afternoon. Things went without issue!  :cooldancing: Took her for a brief drive back to the shop, totally different road feel. Rock solid but not harsh, took a corner, stayed flat.  So Brads in the clear for now...  :smilielol:  :smilielol:  :smilielol: I'll know more once I get a chance out on the open road. But that will be a little while as I start phase 2 of the project.

The BIGS product review-

FIRM FEEL - Torsion Bars *****  Easy install, no clocking problems, good fit   :2thumbs:

HOTCHKIS - Greasable LCA Pins & Bushings **** For the money you couldnt cut a grease groove in these?

P-S-T - Adjustable Strut Rods - LCA Stiffening Plates - T-Bar Adjusters ***** Whats not to like? Good fit and finish, I will be keeping an eye on the heim joints tho....   :2thumbs:

BILSTEIN - Front Shocks **** Good quality, did think the dust boots were a little on the cheap considering what these go for. Had to tweak the LCA's just a little to get them to fit.

HELWIG - Front Sway Bar *** Big but lightweight, sturdy brackets, nice fit, but absolutely HATED the hardware store style washers that were included with the link pins. How much could it cost to make some proper fitting cupped style washers.... really?    :dunno:

MOOG - Offset UCA Bushings ** This was the biggest PITA of the entire project - why arent these made with viable instructions? Or better yet with 1/2 inner sleeves and an offset hole in the bushing washers. I've used lots of MOOG parts over the years, this just dont cut it.  :dunno:   :screwy:

I cant belive how high the count is on this thread.  :faint:  I hope this info benefits somebody here thats for sure.  :grinyes: And thanks to my good friend Jeff for all his help!

Thanks Bigs for the info.
I plan on the greasable pins and Moog bushings when I get to that phase of the build.

Thanks for all the info Biggs...  I have very similar parts to instal this month, so it is nice to hear the results.

MOOG - Offset UCA Bushings ** This was the biggest PITA of the entire project - why arent these made with viable instructions? Or better yet with 1/2 inner sleeves and an offset hole in the bushing washers. I've used lots of MOOG parts over the years, this just dont cut it.

Well, these parts have been on the market since the mid 70s and are being used in methods not originally intended. I doubt Moog feels any motivation to update the instructions at all after 30 years.
