Flat Black AAR by Salvaggio Designs?
« on: December 23, 2012 - 08:44:13 PM »
In some of the old mopar mags I have there is a company called Salvaggio Auto Designs that has a picture of a nice flat black AAR Reto-mod type Barracuda.  It kind of has the Hot Wheels look.   Any body  know anything about this car?   Google searches  yields nothing.   I found their website but nothing about the black cuda.

Which mags?  What years and months?

Can you scan the pics you have?

I see a custom challenger they did named "Insidious":

It's got an AAR like hood:

I've seen it on ebay before.  Here is another listing for it:

I've seen a few pics of it, seen it in person 1 time in Woodland Hills, Ca not sure if the owner lives around here though. Also Not sure if it's a real AAR either. I believe it is also going to be in the new Fast and Furious movie.

I think that Cuda' is actually the DeLaney Cuda'. I have the issue somewhere in which he and another Cuda' are featured. If I recall correctly, it's got the alterkation front end, Heidt rear, an alluminum Hemi etc. He built it as he thought the AAR should have been done, or at least, how he thought it should be done. Pretty kick arse if you ask me :)

Yeah, that's Delaney's Hemi powered AAR style 'Cuda. It ended up at RK Motors Charlotte for a while. They have some great pictures of it. It was serious inspiration for my own car.

Hmm... I don't have too many online anymore. This is probably the best beauty shot I have so far though.
