master cylinder question

hi, i have a 1972 barracuda. is there any advantage by using the more modern aluminim style master cylinder over the original style.thanks

I would use a Oem replacement master cylinder.Sometimes when you use a different part you can open up a can of worms.The pressure and bore size could be different so your pedal feel and brakes locking up could be a problem.

Just make sure you do your homework. Match the bore size. You may have to fiddle with the
pushrod adjustment.
If I cant fix it, it's broke
